Quartus 2 programmer doesn't detects EPC1441p8

Im really new to Quartus 2 and Eeprom programing in general, and i really need the configuration that these EPC's hold; i am currently connecting the USB Blaster to a CPU that has these EPC's, my idea is that the Blaster Recognizes all the supported Altera devices, but when i get into the Quartus 2 Programmer, and select "Auto Detect" i get "Unable to scan device chain".

If someone could explain, how am i supposed to connect the EPC1441p8 to the USB blaster, and be able to recognize it to program it, i would really really appreciate the response.

Thanks!!

Hi Deyoloco,

the same topic has been already solved: http://www.alteraforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19534

Programming support is with the Altera Programming Unit (APU) and programming hardware from BP Microsystems, Data I/O, Elnec, System General and other third-party programmers.

Best regards,

Martin
