Hi
I'm using Quartus II 12.1 and i want to write an EPCQ16 device with jic file. I read that i have to disable the ID memory check but in the Convert Programming File tool the option "Disable EPCS ID check" is not enable. Does anyone have any ideas? thanksLink Copied

"Disable EPCS ID check" is (typically) not selected by default. You need to select that check-box so that it has a tick in it to disable the ID check.
Newer versions of Quartus have "Disable EPCS/EPCQ ID check" - a little clearer. Cheers, Alex- Mark as New

It is impossible to click on it.

I've noticed that some of the options don't become available until the JTAG chain has been scanned. Try clicking auto detect and waiting a few seconds for the Jtag chain to show up.

Do you mean that you don't get a JTAG chain displayed, or that you do see the chain but the option is still unavailable?
