Quartus Lite 17.1 crash sitting fit stage on centos 7

I get the following error during the fit stage when trying to generate a .sof:

I replicated this problem with the attached project. Opening the project and trying to compile results in the same error.

Hi @SyafieqS, my company works with @geon_bluquette and he was able to replicate the issue on his end. Can you please  try his attached project. His attached project should be exactly what I tried.

@SyafieqS in the project that @geon_bluquette posted. I forgot there are some environment variables that I told him to set that I need to get rid of (I have a better way of doing it now) that causes some issues when you try to open that project.

I'll fix it and attach the project

Updating this ticket. Intel stated that there are no workarounds or tricks for this crash bug.
