Hello,
I have a problem on WIN10 with a Quartus Lite and a Chinese USB Blaster clone with STM32 on it.
Firstly, I made everything running by installing the WIN7 drivers. I was able to program my EPM240. Meanwhile, WIN10 updated itself, and my Quartus stop recognizing the USB Blaster. Windows itself recognize the USB Blaster, but not the Quartus. I reinstalled the Quartus and the driver, but no luck. Maybe there is something that is left not uninstalled that makes me the trouble. I have no idea.
I have installed Quartus Lite and the driver on the other machine, and it works nice. So, the USB Blaster I have is ok.
Any suggestion?

Hi,
Intel PSG has its authorized distributor to sale Intel devices. We do not ensure the quality and functionality for clone device and do not provide the further service.
You may find the authorized distributor list from the link below:

Aiman

That is perfectly fine. I don't expect from Intel to fix this problem. My guess was this is forum on which there are other members, not necessary from Intel, who might know the solution.
I would buy the original USB Blaster, but prices and shipping from the sellers are way too high. It just does not make sense.
Anyway, hope someone can help me to find the solution.

You can follow these instructions from TerASIC to install the standard UsbBlaster drivers for your device:
But if that does not work, then you will likely need a driver from the vendor of your USB Blaster clone.
BTW it might help if you provide a picture and/or full details on the vendor of the device so that anyone
else that is using it may provide input. Without knowing the exact device we can only supply general comments.

Hello,
As I said, I installed the driver. Windows recognize it. Quartus do not. The same setup on my laptop works. On my desktop machine, everything worked fine until last windows update.
I have USB Blasters based on STM32, and CH552G.
BTW, the steps on link you provided does not work for chinese clones. You need WIN7 driver for it to work on WIN10.
