SOPC Builder slow to open

I upgraded Quartus II from ver 6.1 to 9.0. 

 

Now it take the SOPC Builder 40 minutes to open each time. It spends about 5 minutes adding each component. 

 

Generating it is reasonable...about 2 minutes 

 

Am using a new Dell laptop Vostro 1700 with Vista 

 

Any suggestions?

do you have a bunch of legacy custom components? if so, remove or update them to be tcl based components.

Yes, it takes long time adding each legacy component described as: 

[altera_avalon_user_defined_interface_classic 7.0.80900] 

 

Will try to update them.
