Hi All,
We have a generated example design. We are using a bfm to run the simulation.
Looking for help on how to do Metastability in Modelsim.
Any ideas or suggestion are welcome.
Anyone previously worked on Metastability regression in Modelsim, Please suggest.
THaanks in Advance,
Vikram

Hi SyafieqS_Intel,
Thanks for your time in trying to help us.
This was what we were looking into the approximation of metastability, as per the user manual of Modelsim.
Raised a ServiceRequest to the Mentor team, they said as design is a mixed design approach.
1. To run the test with the +notiftoggle01[+0] as the default switch, to find the if any violation or errors raise and to debug them.
2. To input a SDF file with the netlist and violation to be taken care.
At the moment, we are not getting any violation and our Simulations are passing.
Thanks,
Vikram

Hi SyafieqS_Intel,
We couldn't find any difference in running with the switch enabled and not enabled.
And the time of simulation and size of the log files remain the same with and without the switch.
Thanks,
Vikram
