Transceiver Toolkit and Hierarchical Qsys Design

Just curious but has anyone gotten this to work? The examples seem to work fine but when I try to push into a reusable block, I can't seem to fully link up to the transceivers. I basically saved my working qsys design, removed the JTAG component, exported the necessary signals (generator, checker, phy management) and connected everything in a top level project. I have to manually create the transmit, receive and transceiver channels in the toolkit and that works but I can't get eyeq to come up. The button is grayed out but I'm not quite sure what else it needs.

The qsys system gets out of hand pretty quickly with multiple transceiver instances and I'd like to ability to test as many transceivers in a single project as I can. It seems as though System Console has enough dependencies on the Quartus project as a whole that I'd have to create a separate project per toolkit instance. Not a killer but it seems so close.

Thanks,

Scott
