Transfer Data from cyclone V FPGA to Host PC

I am implementing time to digital converter in cyclone V FPGA. The timing data (timestamps) are stored in the SDRAM of the FPGA. Now I want to send this timing data to my Host PC for further processing using MATLAB. Could anyone please tell me the detailed procedure to send data from FPGA RAM to the host pc. I am a beginner to work in the FPGA board. Thanks in advance.
