Unable to connect to remote jtag server

The hw board is connected to my local windows-10 machine which runs jtag server for remote configuring/debugging, and a Linux machine running Quartus (Pro 20.2).

Firewall has been checked ok, meaning it  allows all incoming accesses for the TCP 1309 port.

Anyone can help?

Hi,

May I know how do you enable the remote JTAG and how do you access the JTAG remotely? Could you provide me the screenshot of the issue that you observed?

Hi,

May I know if you are running the JTAG Server in root/admin right? I would recommend that you stop the JTAG Server and relaunch your Quartus in root/admin right before enabling remote access.

The other thing is that could you try to check if you are able to communicate between the 2 PC?

when you said jtag server,  do you mean jtag server running on my Windows 10, to which the dev board is attached by JTAG?

OK I'll try to launch jtag with admin authority and see how it will go.

Thanks
