Unable to program my De1 board

i recently installed quartus 2 and am unable to program my altera cyclone 2 De1 board. i have the 150 day license and it even says the end date. And i do have USB blaster driver installed. Wen i try to program the board i get the following error: 

 

 

Info: Started Programmer operation at Thu Sep 02 17:14:33 2010 

Error: Unable to reset device before configuration 

Error: Configuration failed 

Info: Ended Programmer operation at Thu Sep 02 17:14:34 2010 

 

i have worked with same board since last 2 months with no problems and now i am stuck with this problem. Please advice if the problem could be quartus 2 itself (as in configuration problem) or the board.( that most likely shudn't be).

you're just trying to program an .sof? i would create a new simple Quartus II project and test programming with the newly generated file
