Using Oscilloscope with Altera DE2 board

Greetings everyone, I have a program in quartus ii software that generates clock frequency together with other versions of the clock frequency of the Altera de2 board. Now, I want to show these waveforms that I have generated on an oscilloscope. I know there is a simulation tool in Quartus, but I deliberately want to use an oscilloscope. The question is, how can I connect DE2 board to an oscilloscope??? Which port to use?? And the reason I want to do so is because I don't know the values of the frequencies that are generated; only the clock is known to be 50MHz.

Thanks

Hi,

What are you trying to achieve? Just to see signals on scope?

I think Expansion header is what you need. Read DE2 board user manual find which FPGA pins are connected to Expansion header. Assign your top level ports to your chosen pin locations in quartus Pin planner. Connect your scope to expansion header pins and GND and your are good to go.
