Using QSYS for Pinout

Hello,

I am a beginner, and I am looking for some advice regarding the Pinout Planner.

I have created a project for the Max10 Deca board, and I have use QSYS to create a system similar to one of the example projects, with the same exported pins and such.

However, when I generate this QSYS systemm include the QIP file, and go to Pin Planner, there are no pins.

Am I missing a step?

How do I get the pins exported from QSYS to the Pin Planner?

Thank you for any advice.

Back to the Quartus IDE ( assuming that you've placed the Qsys module in a schematic ), had you performed the "update symbol" operation for that module ?

You need to do the analysis and synthesis step before anything will show up in pin planner. The button is to the right of the compile button.
