Where does a file captured from flash using the "Examine" function reside?

So I have Quartus II software and am trying to read devices that do NOT have the security bit set. I get a 100% successful on the process but have no idea where the data actually goes. How do I locate this? Is this an option I set in Quartus II? I would expect a window to pop up and ask me where I'd like to save the "examined" data. Any and all input is appreciated. Thanks.

I think it just saves it as a *.pof file. Delete any *.pof file (or rename it) in your project folder, run "examine", and see if a new *.pof file is created.

Or you can just look at the timestamp of the *.pof file, run "examine", and see if the timestamp changed.

Cheers,

Dave

Did u save the file? U need to right click on the .pof* file after the progress bar complete 100%, then save the file to the location you wish.
