Please see appendix A (Support Statuses of OpenCL Features) in the OpenCL programming guide.

Indeed it is conformant to version 1.0, but there are a few implemented features from 1.2 and 2.0. They are described in appendix of this document (https://www.altera.com/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/opencl-sdk/aocl_programming_guide.pdf).

Hi guys,

Do you know if there are plans to fully upgrade to 2.0 or 2.1?

If so, do you have an approximate timeline of when this would be?

thanks

Bump.. Any thoughts?

Even a 'we don't plan to ever implement this' would be interesting

I thought I was :-)

Is there a better place to do so? I guess i'm interested too in if this is something that could be expected - ie if anyone else would use it as well.

I would file a request with Altera support.

Not sure why they're not keen on replying here - it's the first place that the altera site points you to.

A simple yes/no and date would suffice and would give be much more useful than a vacuum of uncertainty.

Anyway, ta, I'll chase them up externally
