how to work on VGA port in quartus-II

i am working on image processing algorithms implementation using altera cyclone-II .we use quartus-II(7 version). we tying on VGA port.

Also we want to get information about EDA tools.wh is EDA tools.

How to work on it.

so pls some guidenace about this,also give some reference about this.
