Hello, I am new to the Altera environment.
I have the Terasic DE1 development board and have been trying to build and download to it for some time. I have yet to be able to build both a fpga image (with NIOS) and a NIOS application. My current problem is with SOPC builder. It fails. I should note that I have just recently upgraded to 9.0 web tools. I am running on Windows Vista. Here is the error output that I am getting when trying to generate. Info: Wrote C:/altera/90/nios2eds/examples/verilog/DE1_NIOS/low_cost/system_0.sopcinfo Info: system_0: Wrote C:\altera\90\nios2eds\examples\verilog\DE1_NIOS\low_cost/system_0.html Info: system_0: Generating QIP file. It looks to me that the shell environment variable is set to "/bin/sh". I beleive this to be incorrect. There is no sh at that location. Shouldn't it be set to "/cygdrive/c/altera/90/quartus/bin/cygwin/bin/sh"? If so how do I set it? I will appreciate any help provided.Link Copied
