mano's basic computer

Hi all 

I wanna simulate mano's basic computer via Quartus II (V 9.0) and this is my first project! 

pls tell me what should I do... 

the computer must has these specifications:

First I would learn an HDL and get coding. I would use modelsim to do simulations as the quartus simulator is very limited. 

 

Any reasonm you want to use Q9? and not 13.1?
