if I work simultaneously on my board design and FPGA design ,after I recompile my VHDL code would the pin file be different from the original file, even if I didn't change any thing in the VHDL code ?

how do I "lock" pins on specific pin assignment?

I already created first pin file and worked by it on BCP design 'and now I want to change few things on my fpga design.

thnks///

Hi,

In the Pin Planner you can assign the pins. Once assigned they will not change unless you explicity do it in pin planner. It also quite easy to modify the pin locations at any stage.
