Hi friends  

i build accumulator with 24-bit input &16 -bit output , and create Block for this part . i choose RAM with 8-data input, ad create a block also. when i connect the Accumulator &RAM(as a blocks) and run processing synthesis, i got miss matching connect between them.  can any one help to resolve this problem. thanks for all.

Well, assuming I understand your post you're trying to connect a 16 bit bus to an 8bit bus. You will have to select which 8 bits to connect to the ram.

Thanks for answering, the missmaatching case hapend becouse the output bit is[23..8] ,and the input bit of RAM is [0 to 16(or any number)] .Haw can to make matching between these blocks(Accum. & RAM), please Give me any solution or advice in order to facilitate the work.Thank you for your interest

name the bus from the output of the accumuulator, then the input of the ram use the same name and [23..8]
