Does anybody know how to view in QUARTUS II a timing report *.sta.rpt that was generated via command line. Clicking on view report in the Time quest timing analyser starts an entire synthesis (which I dont want) and I dont find any import option. Thanks!

Isn't it an ascii file?
It should be possible to open it with "notepad" or "xedit" "gedit" "vi" in Unix systems.- Mark as New

Hello nplttr, thank you for answering. Reading the file as such is not the problem, I use emacs for that. It is not very easy to read though. The reason I want to open it in Quartus is to profit from the analysis tools it offers for the timing report!
