Announcement: Intel® SGX attestation service enhancement

To improve the customer experience around the Intel® SGX attestation service, Intel has recently implemented a new method for registering for the service via an API web portal.

Subscribing to the Intel® SGX attestation service requires customers to log into the self-service portal using an Intel® Developer Zone account. Upon successful login, customers can subscribe to the Intel® SGX attestation service API and receive their Service Provider ID (SPID) and API Key for authentication. The API key is the new credential used to access the service and the portal allows for an on-demand rotation of keys. Existing users of the attestation service who registered using an x.509 client certificate are still fully supported and the service will continue to function as normal for the foreseeable future.
