I am learning how to use SGX and my lab has a limited number of SGX-based computers. I sometimes have to work on my own laptop (a Macbook Pro). I am wondering whether I can setup a virtual machine (a Windows VM on top of Mac) and build projects in simulation mode, because according to Intel SGX developer guide https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/696480:
Simulation: The simulation mode works in the same way as the debug mode except the fact that true hardware is not exercised, instead the Intel® SGX instructions are simulated in software. Single-step signing is the default method to sign a simulation enclave.
Is this possible?
