As previously communicated to existing subscribers of Intel® SGX Development Services, we are announcing that Intel® SGX Development Services will no longer support remote attestation quotes generated from Intel® Software Guard Extensions SDK v1.1 and associated Platform Software.  There will be no impact to your application if it does not support remote attestation.

Timeline:

  • Development Attestation Environment will stop supporting SDK/PSW v1.1 Quotes on October 4th, 2016
  • Production Attestation Environment will stop supporting SDK/PSW v1.1 Quotes the week of October 17th, 2016

The Intel® Software Guard Extensions SDK v1.6 and associated Platform Software continues to support Intel® SGX Development Services since its release on July 07, 2016.  If you have not already transitioned to Intel® Software Guard Extensions SDK v1.6 or newer, you can download the latest by visiting the Intel® SGX SDK landing zone here: http://software.intel.com/sgx-sdk

Hi, Dan.

Shouldn't it be flagged that SDK/PSW v1.5 are also no long supported by the development services?

I have recently had a problem trying to use IAS's testing server, and it was all because I was using SDK/PSW v1.5 on Linux.

Best regards,

Rodolfo
