I see there is some documentation for SGX driver installation in Ubuntu 14.04.
Is there support available for Ubuntu 16.04?
If not, do we have any deadlines as to when we can expect support in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS?
Thanks,

Hi, Nikilesh.
So far, I haven't seen the support in Ubuntu 16.04 in the roadmap of Intel. I usually check information in this forum, on the Git repository, and on Intel's resource library.
For now, I would develop my applications that use SGX and test them in the environment said to be tested by Intel, and assume that they will provide support for newer Ubuntu versions on the future.
Best regards,
Rodolfo

Thanks Rodolfo S! I was able to use SGX on Ubuntu 16.04 without making changes to the existing code in the git repo. I tested the sample enclave apps only that are part of the git repo.
Can't vouch for other apps.

Hi,
I have been unable to build the SGX driver on Ubuntu 16.04 on Mac. It mentions somewhere on Git that even for the simulation mode, you need to build the sgx driver. Any leads on that? Thanks!
