I am able to send text messages through Unison app successfully, but then, how do you delete them?  I can delete the messages on my phone but they still appear within the app.

Hi, Bill14.

Thank you for your response.

I'd like to know if you already tried to unpair and pair the device. You may follow these steps: How to Troubleshoot Intel® Unison™ App Pairing and Permission Request Issues. Please let me know if the issue is still the same.

Hi, Bill14.

Thank you for posting in our Community. I’m glad to hear that you’re successfully sending text messages through the Unison app. I understand you’re having trouble deleting messages, so let’s work through that together. When you delete messages on your phone, do you see them reappear in the Unison app? This is to understand if the problem is with synchronization between your phone and the Unison app. What steps have you taken to try to delete the messages or conversations? Can you describe the process you followed? To see if there are specific steps or methods being used that might be leading to the issue. Were there any recent hardware or software changes made before the issue occurred?

Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Hello Von,

No, the problem is, if I send a message from within the Unison app, I do see them appear on my phone. The problem is, I am not able to delete the message from the Unison app itself. I tried deleting the message from my phone (that is successful) with the hope that the Unison app would sync up and delete the message from the app, but no such like. And from within Unison, I tried right clicking on the message but that does not bring up any option to delete it.

Is this a feature that needs to be added to the Unison app?

Thanks for your reply.

So, in case I'm still not clear, I can see a message I wrote on the Unison app that does not exist on my phone, and I can't delete it.

That worked Von, thank you. After repairing my phone and laptop, the text message I was seeing on the Unison app running on my laptop was gone. Hopefully, I don't have to do that each time I want to delete a message(s). Otherwise, can we please have an option to delete messages from the Unison app running on a PC?

Thank you again.

Hi, Bill14.

I'm glad to hear that repairing your phone and laptop resolved the issue. As for the option to delete messages directly from the Unison app on PC, we are actively working on adding this feature. I appreciate your feedback and will make a note of it. Enhancing our app is an ongoing effort, and your suggestion is greatly valued. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Is there anything else I can assist you with at this time? If there's anything else you need help with, please feel free to let me know.
