Booting from IDA 2.5.1 hangs on S5000PAL

Hi All,

I am trying to update the BIOS on my S5000PAL board and i have created a CD for IDA 2.5.1 Version and when i try to boot the machine from the CD it shows the Initial Screen where it shows the IDA Initialization screen and then it hangs.

I tried booting multiple times with no luck..

When i removed the CD and booted from the hard drive it worked fine. I don't think booting from the CD did any damage..

Any suggestions pls...

You can try removing add-in cards and disconnecting the backplane, or just try the DOS update instead.
