My intention is to install an Intel P3700 SSD AIC and use it as the boot drive (c), does it matter where this add in card is installed?

Thank you for your response. Regarding your query, I would like to inform you that PCIe SSD AIC FF devices are only supported in the bottom add-in card slot on Riser Slot #1 and Riser Slot #2. For more details, please refer to the Thermal Configuration Table Notes on page 138 of the TPS.
