S2600C0 will not boot after switching back to single E5-2680 from single E5-2609V2.

Works fine with single E5-2609V2.

No screen display. Only error LED is orange one marked "!".

Bios is SE5C600.86B.02.06.0002

Cpu is one E5-2609V2 ===> Works

With one E5-2680 (version 1 Sr0K) ===> endless boot cycle, no display. No error LED's except the rear amber marked with "!" inside a triangle.

Thanks

Steph

Message was edited by: Stephanus van Schalkwyk We've just tested it with an E5-2603 SR0K (version 1 ) an dit boots on that. Is the E5-2680 buggered? This is an OEM SR0K. Any warranty replacement?

Hello,

There is no BIOS limitation for the E5-2680 reason why we recommend testing the processor on a different system to ensure it is working fine. It appears to be defective.
