Why i asking, i got this and it's not working. A similar case http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/272649-31-intel-s5520sc-dual-xeon-w5580-boot-problem http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/272649-31-intel-s5520sc-dual-xeon-w5580-boot-problem

Intel Engineer sample CPUs will NOT run on intel motherboards (they doesn't work on a Intel s5520sc).

They will on ASUS.

My cpus are xeon W5580 ES and now they are running on a ASUS Z8PE-D12X motherboard.

Anyway, i wanted hear answer from the intel officially, but i guess they'll never tell me, cause ES processors it's a little bit illegal i think.

And of course i tried to update bios from Bios recovery...
