Does Windows boot if you disable Virtualization Technology?

Hello,

To answer your question, Windows should boot up just fine if Intel VT is enabled or disabled.

Hello,

We would like to inform you that enabling/disabling virtualization technology in the BIOS will not prevent the operating system to boot up. Here are our recommendations:

- Proceed to update the firmware on the server board to the latest version available:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26197/Intel-Server-Board-S2600CW-Firmware-Update-Package-for-Extensible-Firmware-Interface-EFI-?product=88278 Intel® Server Board S2600CW Firmware Update Package for Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI)

- Restore to defaults by going into the BIOS set up menu and pressing F9.

Test the system again and let us know the results.
