I'm an Intel Xeon at home and wonder if it is compatible with Windows Server 2008 or if you still need to continue with Windows 7. Thank you.

Yes of course Xeon processor is compatible with Windows Server 2008. Maybe the better question would be is your board tested with Windows Server 2008?
