Xeon Product Identification to determine the country of origin and MMID for a Xeon 6238 CPU

Hi,

 

I am an intel employee.  we have procured some Xeon 6238 CPU's for system demo purposes with ISV and we need the MMID and Country of Origin (COO) information.   The help articles I have access to do not give an answer I can use.  for example, in one article it says to go to ark.intel.com and look under the "ordering and spec" section to find the MMID but no such 13- or 16-digit alphanumeric code is there.   In another article it says to look at the product markings but the only codes i have there are "SRFPL 2.1 GHz", and "L925H271".    How can these be used to determine the MMID and COO?

 

(Note that the CPU's are still sealed in antistatic bags so there may be other markings which i cannot read through the smoke-colored plastic.)

Based on your inquiry, we understand that you wish to get the MMID and the country of origin for Xeon 6238 processor.


Please note that Xeon® Gold 6238 Processor is currently in EOIS ( End of interactive support) status and hence, no future updates will be released for this processor.


Regarding the MMID for the processor, you can refer the below link where the MMID is mentioned for both Xeon® Gold 6238 boxed and tray processors.
