Hello linalle1,
Greetings from Intel!
Thank you for posting in the Intel Community Forum.
With regard to your query, please find the details below.
After reviewing the Intel® ARK pages for both processors, we observe the following:
Intel® Xeon® 6776P Processor
336M Cache, 2.30 GHz
Expansion Options
Scalability: 2S
Intel® Xeon® 6774P Processor
336M Cache, 2.50 GHz
Expansion Options
Scalability: 1S
This indicates that 1S refers to a single-socket configuration, while 2S refers to a dual‑socket (multi‑socket) configuration.
The Intel® Ultra Path Interconnect (UPI) is mandatory for multi‑socket operation, as it is used exclusively for CPU‑to‑CPU communication. UPI is not used within a single‑socket (1S) system.
Therefore, UPI information is not available on the Intel® ARK page for the Intel® Xeon® 6774P Processor, as this processor is designed and intended for single‑socket configurations, where UPI is not required.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance.
Thank you for using Intel products and services.
Best regards,
