Intel oneAPI Installation and Performance Issue on Windows 11

I recently installed Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit on my Windows 11 system for development and testing purposes. The installation completed successfully, but I am experiencing performance and stability issues while compiling and running C++ projects.

System Configuration:

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 Processor
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4
  • IDE: Visual Studio 2022
  • Toolkit: Intel oneAPI Base Toolkit (latest version)

Issues I noticed:

  • Compilation takes unusually long compared to previous setup
  • Random IDE freezing during build process
  • High CPU usage even on smaller projects
  • Occasional DLL/runtime errors after compiling

Things I already tried:

  • Reinstalled oneAPI toolkit
  • Updated Intel drivers and Visual Studio components
  • Cleared build cache and temporary files
  • Disabled antivirus temporarily during compilation

I would appreciate guidance from Intel experts or community members regarding:

  1. Recommended Visual Studio configuration for oneAPI
  2. Performance optimization settings
  3. Possible causes of runtime DLL issues
  4. Whether this could be related to Windows 11 updates

Thank you in advance for your support.
