setting up compiler with older ABAQUS versions

Hi

I am trying to link the Fortran compiler to ABAQUS 2018 (because that's the version I have access to from my university). We have previously bought the lisence for Intel Parallel Studio XE 2020. I changed the windows environment variables and created the required batch files using the following instructions:

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/344658089_Linking_Abaqus_2018_Intel_Parallel_Studio_XE_2020_Visual_Studio_2019_in_Windows_10_x64

which resulted in the following error:

command intel64 was not found.

Later I found out that the lisence we had for Parallel Studio did not include the C++ compiler. I just wanted to make sure this is the issue, and whether by installing Parallel Studio (including C++) and following the instructions mentioned, the problem will be resolved.

Also, is there any way to only aquire only the lisence for the C++ compiler part, as we have the rest of Parallel studio already?

P.S. I know that Parallel Studio have been replaced by OneAPI. However, as you know, ifort have been replaced in the latest versions, which make it incompatible with older ABAQUS versions, and I don't have access to later ABAQUS versions.

Thank you in advnace for any help and advice!
