Hello! I don't see MKL listed in my available downloads for "Community Licensing for Intel® Performance Libraries for OS X". It appears to be available for Linux and Windows, though. Will MKL be made available for OS X?
Thanks!
Tim

I think that Intel discontinued selling/distributing MKL as a stand-alone product, see https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/532440 . You may be able to obtain it as part of Parallel Studio or Sytem Studio, telling the installer to install only MKL, if MKL is all that you need.

Its availability in this package was announced today: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/free_mkl (and it is available on 2 platforms!)

Sorry, I made a mistake in my blog - plain and simple. We do not have a standalone MKL to post for OS X at this time, only Windows and Linux. I updated my blog to reflect this, only to help people who read it in the future. I'd like to see if we can offer it in the future, but currently we cannot. I'm very sorry for my mistake in my blog (I put Windows/Linux/OS X in a spot implying it applied to all the libraries - when the OS X actually does not apply for MKL).

James, I was not aware of the change in MKL licensing, and so gave an incorrect reply in #3, which Tim.S corrected in #4.
Had he not responded, I (and many other MKL users) would still be unaware of the changes (which I am sure we are grateful for) because your blog was not mentioned elsewhere. It would have been helpful to add a sticky note with a link to your blog in the MKL forum and leave it there for a couple of months.
Thanks.

Yes, thanks. I was writing about the first four posts, which were made before a reference was made to the announcement and the sticky note was posted here.
