AMT 6, IDE-R and DVD

I am attempting to boot to a Windows 7 DVD using IDE-R, but the boot fails with an I/O error (0xc00000e9). I know the DVD format wasn't supported with earlier versions of AMT, but is that still the case with AMT 6? If not, with many products now shipping on DVD, it'd be great to have the capability to use them with IDE-R.
