I have a Dell XPS and upgraded to Windows 7. Now there is sno sound. A microsoft tech thinks that Dell does not have the correct driver. I have not been able to find the correct one for 32 bit. Any ideas?

Hi, if you haven't fixed this problem, you can get drivers from support.dell or surely thru window update. You don't say which dell xps model. Either that or simply put a sound card into the box, which will have a disc with it to install the drivers. Hope this helps.

I had the same issue on a Dell Optiplex 760 after I got the Windows 7
I just went to http://www.dell.com/support www.dell.com/support and got the drivers for the sound card --> it works fine now
I am sure you can do the same.
