Hi,
I want to use USBfile to activate ACM.
I can update Mebx password or other setting by using setup.bin in the USB.
But how to modify the BIOS setting "Network Access State" to activate ACM?

Hello doppjk,
Greetings!
We see that you are attempting to update the network settings in BIOS to access the endpoint in ACM (Admin Control Mode). We would request you to go through the steps below:
Steps to Un-Provision Intel® AMT Configuration via MEBx:
- Login to MEBx:
- Reboot the system and press Ctrl + P during POST to access the MEBx menu.
- Enter Intel® AMT Configuration:
- Use the MEBx password to log in, then navigate to Intel® AMT Configuration.
- Unconfigure Network Access:
- Select Unconfigure Network Access.
- Choose Fully Un-Provision mode.
- Confirm and wait for about a minute for the settings to apply.
- Verify Network Access:
- Once un-provisioned has been done you should see Active Network Access listed kindly select and press Y.

Hi Pujeeth,
Thanks for your feedback.
I knew the way to activate ACM manually.
As I knew, there are three ways to activate ACM.
1. By manual
2. USB provision
3. Buy certificate
I also studied some videos and tutorial guide about intel EMA/Open AMT toolkit.
I wonder to know...
1. Do you the full process about USB provision? Like how to config setup.bin to auto active ACM.
2. MEBx setting is stored in CSME data region. Could this region be protected when I updated ME to latest version. I use efi BIOS to update ME.
3. Did the AMT have the capability to catch the thermal sensor information? I survey infomation about ASF, wsman event, and CIM_sensor. But there are few data to know how to implement it..

Hi Doppjk,
It is not possible to activate Intel AMT using a USB drive. You can use a USB drive to load AMT configuration settings, e.g. PKI DNS suffix. You still need to activate Intel AMT manually via MEBx or with other tools like Intel Endpoint Management Assistant.
Under normal circumstances, updating ME firmware does not remove Intel AMT settings.
