Changing EMA database server

Hello,

we have set up the EMA database to an external test sql server. Now we want to migrate the EMA database to a production server. Moving the db is not a problem but we don´t know where to configure the new database server entry in EMA. Where can we change the database server? I did not find any options in the EMA GUI / web frontend. Is there a config file?

Thank you!

Hello, Wandy,

I understand you have an Intel® EMA configuration; the original database was set up in an external server.  Now, you want to migrate the database to a production server and want to know how to synchronize the new location of the database with the EMA configuration.

First, before any change, create a backup of the EMA database and EMA Mesh Settings Certificate.

Then, open the EMAServerinstaller application (path: EMA software was downloaded and unzipped), and open it with Admin rights.

Click the File tab

Select Advanced Mode

Choose Database and click over Update Database

Type the new location

Click the Update icon.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hello Miguel,

wow, that setting is very hidden. It worked like a charm.

Thank you very much!
