Connect Intel Edison with GSM Shield Click 2 (quectel M95)

Hello im trying to connect the gsm click 2 shield (quectel M95) to the intel edison, i have followed the instructions to communicate trough serial with a modem 3G with ppp https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/connect-a-gprs-modem-to-intel-edison IoT - Connect a GPRS modem to Intel® Edison | Intel® Developer Zone.

but i havent been able to stablish a comunication with the modem trough the serial port, i have tested with a GPS module and it stablishes the connection and recive data from the GPS.
