Difference between Vpro server boards and desktop boards

Hi,

Anybody can explain me the difference between VT enabled board in server & Deskotp

is there any Major performance difference ..if i use core 2 duo prov with VT enabled board

or is the best to use xeon proc with VT enabled.

it's purely for the Hyper-v testing
