AMT 3.2 and previous version require that AMT should have different hostname and IP address if the vPro provisoned as SMB mode and static IP. Does it still required the same for the AMT 5?

Yes... it still required in AMT 5.0 as well. Either Static or DHCP.

In my understanding, ME uses the shared MAC address on AMT 4.0 or later.
So we can use the same IP address on both OS and ME, and we should set the same host name in this case.
If we set the 2 different IP addresses to OS and ME, we need to use the different host names.
(Even the MAC addresses are same, it should be OK from network environment's point of view.)
Please correct me if I'm wrong...

Hi, I also use the same IP address for ME and OS.
ME setup static IP address and is same with Win7 OS. It seems no problem. This can save one IP in LAN environment.
