General question: enabling Intel vPro on a non-vPro laptop?

Hi there, I have a general question re vPro.

I have a consumer laptop (Samsing R510) which has all the hardware prerequisites for vPro: Intel T9600 CPU, Intel GM45 + ICH9, and Intel 5300 wifi card. However, I do not see the vPro BIOS extension in my laptops bios.

question: given that I have all the prereqisite hardware, is there a way to 'install' or 'enable' vPro ?

any help much appreciated!

thanks

Richard

You need to contact the laptop manufacturer and ask them if they have a BIOS update that will allow you to enable Intel Vpro* on your laptop system, keep in mind that the laptop most have an Intel vPro certification test passed.
