I would like to control the user notifications settings in the IMSS (Intel Management and Security Status) utility.
How can this be controlled during or after an automated installation process?

Hello Martin,
Let me check if user notification settings could be controlled via IMSS for additional information please refer to https://ww2.chemistry.gatech.edu/software/Drivers/Dell/R298379/IMSS/Intel(R)_IMSS_User_Guide.pdf Intel® Management and Security Status Application where you may get more details about configuration.
If you have any more questions, please let me know.
Best regards,

Hello Caesar,
This particular thread can be closed.
I've come round to the opinion that this is a question for the OEM (Lenovo), which provides the IntelME client package.
...and sure enough, they include a .reg file that suggests to set the following string value in the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intel\PIcon\Setting]
"AppAutoStartDefaultVal"="0"
It's only today that I stumbled over this but it seems to do what I want - suppress the IMSS user notifications.
Thank you for looking into this and sorry for posting questions in the wrong place.
