Hello All,
I work at Wayfair within IT and we've bought a large amount of Intel NUCs for our environment. I would like to speak to a specialized tech member who can help me with the following:
Is there a way to remotely push BIOS updates to all of our deployed Intel NUCs?
Is there also a way to collect the amount of NUCs and how many of each model type that are currently deployed on our network? I'm wondering if there are tools available to use with SCCM or other platforms?
Please let me know!
Regards,
Ryan

Hello mailto:rlynch@wayfair.com rlynch@wayfair.com
Thanks for joining the community.
What you are describing is called Active Management Technology which is part of the Intel vPro technology.
You want to check under http://ark.intel.com ark.intel.com if the particular model of the NUCs you have are vPro capable. This shows up under Advanced Technologies > Intel vPro Technology.
If they are then you will be able to setup the remote management following this URL: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/getting-started-with-intel-active-management-technology-amt https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/getting-started-with-intel-active-management-technology-amt
If you are interested in integrate the Intel AMT with SCCM you could do it by installing this add-on: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26506/Intel-SCS-Add-on-for-Microsoft-System-Center-Configuration-Manager https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26506/Intel-SCS-Add-on-for-Microsoft-System-Center-Configuration-Manager
I hope this helps
