Intel AMT SCS Console loses connection to database

I have installed the Intel AMT SCS Console application and the default web service URL is: http://%3CServerName%3E.%3CDomainName%3E/AMTSCS http://./AMTSCS. The application launches without issue and establishes a connection to the database. However, after about 10-15 seconds it loses connectivity to the database. This happens each time I launch the application. I've installed it on several different computers with the same results. Has anyone encountered this?

What happens when you try and run the SCS Console on the same system that the database is on?
