Intel EMA Agent ACM not completing provisioning

I have setup intel ema in AWS behind a load balancer. Created a DNS alis for it like loadbalancer.alisdomain.com which the ema agent on the systems shows that is connected to it. The computer and the server sit in a different domain like computername.internaldomain.com. The PKI certificate also has the domain name .internaldomain.com when it was created. After installing the agent though the agent will not complete provisioning and gives this error:
intel ema agent installation error in \Agent\MeshManageability\agent\microstack\ILibAsyncSocket.c:428 internalSocket ERROR: 10035. Last error: 10035.

Does the DNS alias for the load balancer need to match what is in the PKI certificate as well?
