Basically our machines are crashing during Windows 1123H2 (from W1022H2) upgrade.
The machines are unresponsive, we then try to use Intel EMA, but we cannot connect to the impacted machines.
The machines show "Yellow" for Power on and connected, but "Green" for CIRA, but "hardware manageability" tab, nothing happens.
Is this a known issue?
Is this linked to CPU freeze taking down entire motherboard including vPro?

An engineer hard rebooting fixes them. but the point of AMT is that if OS is crashed we can remote reboot via EMA.

Hello, Jools86,
We understand the issue started while doing the Windows update. As per community posts created:
Intel EMA - Windows 11 Upgrades - CIRA green, Power On Yellow
CIRA is showing the Windows update process and the reboot option from the Hardware Manageability tab failed.
You mentioned the issue was fixed by doing a hard reboot.
Jools86, could you confirm if the Windows update issue was related to the CrowdStrike bug?
Intel released a troubleshooting document related to the CrowdStrike issue:
Remediate CrowdStrike Falcon® update issue on Windows systems with Intel vPro® technology

Vijay N.

- Installation:
- Download and unzip the tool.
- Double-click the .msi file and follow the prompts.
- Run:
- Open a command prompt as administrator (alternatively, you can run the tool from Windows PowerShell).
- Navigate to the installation folder (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\EMAConfigTool).
- Run the command: EMAConfigTool.exe --verbose
