Hello Marc Bastian,
Could you please let us know the provisioning method being used on these Dell Precision Systems?
Let us know the system configuration of the Dell Precision systems you are trying to deploy.
Please examine the MEBx settings to make sure remote configuration is enabled, or a TLS PSK pair is defined.
Provide us with the complete Log file so we could do further investigation.
For more information please refer to https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/software/Intel_SCS_User_Guide.pdf Intel® Setup and Configuration Software (Intel® SCS) User Guide.
If you have any more questions, please let me know.
Best regards,
Caesar B_Intel.

Hello Caesar,
I think the answer is much easier then expected: Someone from Dell told me yesterday that the vPro option has been removed from the "default customer configuration". That is why some of the last bought systems simple do not have vPro present – and systems older than six month have it.

Hello Marc Bastian,
Thank you for providing the answer and for letting us know the system does not support vPro as confirmed by Dell* support.
We hope this helps other customers in the future.
If you have any more questions, please let us know.
Best regards,

Marc,
your recently ordered systems have Out of Band Management option in Dell Configurator set to NO OOB Management - Intel ME is there but Intel AMT management feature is permanently blocked in ME FW as factory configuration option.
if you will perform ACUConfig with SystemDiscovery command you will find that there is no Intel AMT supported on those systems.
And Intel processor brand sticker on them is non vPro one.
you can also verify it by checking those systems Service Tag on Dell support website for system configuration - Expand Components and check System Management information.
Next time when ordering if you like to get Intel vPro device/Intel AMT enabled PC - pay attention to System Management customizable ordering option.
